This section provides you complete understanding about various POS operations. There are some new features introduced in this version including End of Day which is explained in this section.
The EOD feature is enabled from iVend Management Console by selecting the Allow EOD from POS checkbox from the Empolyee screen.
The following POS operations are allowed:

Reinitialize Hardware: Clicking on this button will Reinitialize the devices that are attached to the POS.

Start / Stop Offline Authorization: For processing the credit cards iVend requires the internet connectivity at the POS, but in case if the internet connectivity is lost or is not available at the POS, iVend can be setup for processing the credit cards offline. These offline processed credit cards can then be processed by the payment processor at the later time when the internet connectivity is restored at the POS. Click on this button to start a session in which the cashier can accept the unauthorized payments.
